Still Bay

Still Bay also known as The Bay of the Sleeping Beauty is situated about 397Km North East Cape Town and 140Km away from George, which is also the nearest Domestic Airport. Still Bay attracts people countrywide because of its vast open spaces, the tranquil rivers and pure white sandy beaches. Still Bay is blessed with a moderate climate and fresh populated air due to a gentle breeze blowing from the placid ocean. This area receives rain almost equally in all four seasons with peaks in autumn and spring. Temperatures fluctuate between 20 °C and 28 ºC on average in summer and between 12 ºC and 20 ºC on average in winter.

Jongensfontein

Jongensfontein is located next to Still Bay on the scenic South Cape coast’s Garden Route, is a seaside village offering the ideal holiday by the sea. The views over the ocean are stunning and constant tide changes make spectacular views. Whale watching from July to November is always a highlight.

Mossel Bay

Mossel Bay has developed slowly without becoming too fashionable or sophisticated, and has retained a lot of its sleepy, small-town charm, despite the petrol refinery on the outskirts.
Surrounded by attractive scenery, the town is situated on cliffs leading down to a harbour and a beautiful beach.
Portuguese sailor Bartholomew Dias was the first European to land here in 1488, after rounding the Cape.
The volley of stones that sent Dias and his crew scuttling back to their ship, indicated what the scantily clad Khoi-Khoi herders thought of the miracle before them.
